Customer Service/Sales Representative

 

Job Summary: This position will provide customer service, generate new sales, and retention for Alpha Omega Publications

 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Respond positively to customer calls, emails, and other direct contacts in a timely manner
  • Communicate clearly, both written and in speech, to both internal and external customers
  • Resolve all concerns in the best interest of both the customer and the company
  • Determine customer's needs and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Use multiple CRM's at once to assist the customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize job responsibilities and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrates ability to resolve difficult customer issues while maintaining professionalism with appropriate tone and manner
  • Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to follow up on all tasks
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Ability to work successfully in a team oriented environment
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office software especially Outlook, Excel and Word

 Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Customer service experience is desirable
  • Experience with CRM systems is desirable

 Work Environment/ Physical Demands: 

  • General office environment
  • May be sitting for periods of 3-6 hours at a time
  • Work involves extended periods of computer use
